Description
What it tastes like
Bright and juicy. Citrus and red berries first, settling into caramel and a bit of chocolate. Lively without being sour.
How to brew it
Best as filter or pour-over, where the fruitiness really comes through. Great in a cafetière too. Works as espresso if you like a brighter, lighter shot.
Where it’s from
“Single origin” just means it all comes from one region, rather than a mix. Huila sits high up in the Andes, and the cool nights help the coffee cherries ripen slowly and sweetly. It’s washed (the fruit’s taken off before the beans are dried), which keeps it clean and bright.
Fresh from Plumstead

Questions
How’s it different from Coffee Morning?
This is 100% Colombian, so it’s brighter and fruitier. Coffee Morning adds Brazil for a rounder, more chocolatey cup.
Whole bean or ground?
Whole bean stays fresh longer. No grinder? We’ll grind it for you: coarse for a cafetière, medium for filter, fine for espresso.
How fresh is it?
It’s at its best from about a week after roasting up to a month or so. The roast date’s on every bag.
How should I store it?
Keep the bag sealed, somewhere cool and dark. Not the fridge, it picks up smells. Got a 1kg bag? Freeze half and it’ll keep for months.
Drink a lot of it? Get it every month instead. £8 for your first month with code COFFEE20 at checkout, then £10.
