Description
Flavour Profile
A proper espresso blend. Dulima from Colombian Huila hits with citrus and red berries up front, settling into caramel and dark chocolate. Punchy enough for a morning shot, smooth enough to drink black.
How Best to Enjoy
Built for espresso machines but happy in a moka pot or filter. Pulls a crema-rich shot, holds its own in a flat white, and stands up well to milk.
Origin
Single origin from Huila, Colombia — one of the country’s most celebrated growing regions. Grown at altitude, washed processed, with the natural sweetness Huila is known for.
Why This Is Special
Most supermarket espresso blends rely on cheap commodity beans roasted weeks ago. This is single-origin speciality coffee, roasted dark for espresso, posted the day it’s roasted.
Roasted & Posted to Order
Roasted the day it ships, direct from our Plumstead roastery in SE18. No warehouse, no middlemen — just fresh coffee straight from the roaster.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this suitable for espresso machines?
Yes — that’s what it’s built for. Dark roast, low acidity, full body. Grind fine for espresso, medium-fine for moka pot.
Can I use it for filter or cafetière?
Absolutely. The dark roast makes for a rich, full-bodied cafetière brew. For filter (V60, Chemex), you might prefer our lighter roasts.
How fresh is the coffee?
Roasted the day it ships. Best within 4 weeks of the roast date, which is printed on every bag.
How should I store it?
Sealed container, away from light and heat. For the 1kg bag, freeze half — sealed and frozen, coffee holds flavour for months.
