Description
What it tastes like
Chocolate, hazelnut and dried fruit. Smooth, comforting and naturally sweet. Our easiest-drinking coffee, and the one we’d put in front of someone who says they “don’t like posh coffee”.
How to brew it
Brilliant with milk. Makes a chocolatey espresso for flat whites and lattes, and a lovely, lazy cafetière on a Sunday.
Where it’s from
Cerrado Mineiro was the first region in Brazil to get protected origin status, a bit like Champagne. This coffee is natural processed, meaning the beans are dried with the fruit still on, a bit like a raisin. That’s where the extra sweetness and body come from.
Café Delas
We source this coffee through Café Delas, a programme for women coffee farmers in the Cerrado. Every bag traces back to the farms it came from, and part of what the programme earns goes back into supporting women in coffee.

Questions
Is it good for espresso?
Very. It’s a cracking milk coffee.
How’s it different from your Colombians?
Brazilian coffee tends to be nuttier, more chocolatey and less acidic. Colombian leans brighter and fruitier.
How fresh is it?
It’s at its best from about a week after roasting up to a month or so. The roast date’s on every bag.
How should I store it?
Keep the bag sealed, somewhere cool and dark. Not the fridge, it picks up smells. Got a 1kg bag? Freeze half and it’ll keep for months.
Drink a lot of it? Get it every month instead. £8 for your first month with code COFFEE20 at checkout, then £10.
