Description
What it tastes like
Smooth and sweet: milk chocolate and caramel, with a bit of orange to keep it lively. Nice black, nice with milk. Dangerously easy to have a second cup.
How to brew it
It’s the all-rounder. Cafetière, V60 (a cone you pour water through), filter machine or espresso. If you only keep one coffee in the cupboard, make it this one.
What’s in it
Two coffees blended together. Dulima, from Huila in Colombia, is washed, which means the fruit’s taken off the bean before it’s dried. That gives it a clean, bright taste. The Brazil comes from Café Delas, a group of women farmers in Cerrado Mineiro, and brings the chocolate and body.
Fresh from Plumstead

Questions
How’s it different from Common Espresso?
Same coffees, different roast. Coffee Morning is medium, so it’s smoother and a touch brighter. Common Espresso is roasted darker for a punchier shot that cuts through milk.
Is it any good for espresso?
Yes, it makes a smooth, sweet shot. If you like it strong and dark-chocolatey, go for Common Espresso.
Whole bean or ground?
Whole bean stays fresh longer. No grinder? We’ll grind it for you: coarse for a cafetière, medium for filter, fine for espresso.
How fresh is it?
It’s at its best from about a week after roasting up to a month or so. The roast date’s on every bag.
How should I store it?
Keep the bag sealed, somewhere cool and dark. Not the fridge, it picks up smells. Got a 1kg bag? Freeze half and it’ll keep for months.
Drink a lot of it? Get it every month instead. £8 for your first month with code COFFEE20 at checkout, then £10.

Coffee Morning is a bright and invigorating cup. Makes work more efficient and certainly lifts the mood! I highly recommend it and will be purchasing a regular large bag. Fantastic roast and beautiful packaging. Bravo to Vendum.

I ordered my first couple of bags recently after discovering Vendum at a Plumstead market, and wanting to support a local business that makes something I enjoy. It was delivered in person to my door, very well packaged, and tastes great. I’ve been enjoying it a lot so far, and plan to order again in future.
